We just got back from the Las Vegas Design Market and had the most amazing time walking the showrooms and learning about the new collections from our wholesale partners. The team is feeling inspired and motivated to make our design and staging projects the best they’ve ever been.
A few trends we are still seeing: boucle, cane, and curvy furniture. Almost every single showroom had these materials as part of their new collection. This actually surprised us, these trends have been around for the last year, but clearly they aren’t going anywhere!
Keeping specific design projects in mind, it was great to source for furniture in person and sit test each piece so we know what we’re recommending is actually comfortable.
Some of the most fun showrooms at the Las Vegas Market were for art and accessories. Shopping for accessories from our vendors online is sometimes not the most exciting. It was amazing to see how these showrooms styled each product, which made you wish you packed an empty suitcase to sneak everything home!
Of course it wouldn’t be a Vegas trip without indulging in some of the best food and trying our luck at gambling. We stayed at The Aria Hotel and luckily, we were surrounded by amazing food. We loved the Mexican food and margaritas at Javier’s and the yummy seafood at Catch. We definitely recommend checking out these places!
We ended the trip with an exciting new business venture for Sagewood. I’m so elated about this and can’t wait to share more in the near future! Stay tuned!
