Vacant Home Staging

Selling a home is rarely easy, whether the economy is booming or markets are down. Here at Sagewood we understand home buyers – we know how they make purchase decisions (and more importantly how to sway those decisions), we know what interior design aesthetics appeal to different demographics, and we know how to help them envision a life in your home.

4 reasons for staging your home:

1. Connect with your potential buyers’ main decision driver: their emotions.

2. Highlight your home’s selling points and minimize its flaws.

3. Increase the value of your home in the buyer’s mind.

4. Paint a picture of a stylish and functional lifestyle that buyers can envision for themselves.

Fun Fact: In a 2017 National Associations of Realtors study, seventy-seven percent of buyers’ agents reported that staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as a future home.

The Staging Process

w

Initial Consultation

We meet with you at your property for a residence walkthrough, an assessment of  your home's target market, and a discussion about your staging needs and budget.

A Sagewood designer meets with you on-site to evaluate your staging needs, assess your target market, discuss the available staging budget, and take measurements of your property.

Project Proposal

A proposal outlining design direction, number of rooms to be staged, a furnishing list, the staging timeline, and project cost is sent your way for review.

Our design team creates and sends you a custom staging proposal outlining an aesthetic direction for the project, rooms to be staged, proposed furniture/decor pieces, and a timeline and budget.

Property Staging

Our creative team and staging crew delivers and installs your property stage in as little time as one day, readying your home for Denver's red-hot real estate market.

A Sagewood designer and our staging crew will stage your entire property within one to two days using designer-selected pieces from our curated furniture inventory.

Destaging

Once an offer on your home is accepted and a 7 business day notice is given to our team, we schedule a date for your staging removal and de-stage your property within a day.

After you receive an offer and give Sagewood 7 business days notice, we will schedule a date for our crew to come in and de-stage your property in the span of one day.
